Although it's essential to ensure a seamless user experience it's also necessary to ensure the fact that the problem that you're trying to solve actually exists. For eg. If the usability issue that's being reported is regarding a feature that's being used by <5% of the users and has no further implications rather than just being an issue in an underutilised feature, it may be best to solve for it in a different task altogether. Unless it's a product breaking functionality or something that affects already existing things significantly, it wouldn't make sense to invest significant effort to fix it during the MVP phase.

Absolutely agree with the importance of quick iterations! Adapting rapidly to user feedback and market changes is crucial. However, it's vital not to rush through iterations and risk overlooking usability issues. Starting with an MVP that emphasizes core usability ensures user needs are prioritized from the outset. Skill of Using prototypes effectively is a thoughtful creative endeavour which saves a lot of effort and money. Choose high fidelity or low fidelity prototype tool depending on what part of solution you need feedback on. For layout and structure low fidelity works, but for interactions and feel of product high fidelity is required. Prototyping is used a lot in physical products too such as jewellery, apparels and automobiles because it saves tons of resources down the road.

Foster a user-centric culture within your team. Encourage everyone to prioritize the user's perspective and regularly share user feedback. When the whole team values usability as much as speed, quick iterations and usability analysis can coexist.

It is important to understand what you are testing using prototype. For example if you are trying a new way to create omelette then are you trying to create it healthier, crispier or faster. If you have certain dimensions in mind based on that your prototypes will vary and you can create your questions to explore customer interest along those dimensions. Similarly in case of digital product think about around what dimensions you need feedback. Is it no of clicks or discoverability or faster workflow or easier sharing ? Then create prototypes that show improvements and trade-offs and collect feedback.
