Generosity in AI parallels the concept of decentralization: both are about distributing resources widely rather than hoarding them. Just as decentralization in blockchain and tech disperses power and information, promoting transparency and innovation, generosity in AI involves sharing knowledge and expertise, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.

In my case, I have created a course under the MIT license on GitHub about large language models, which already has 250 stars and is available for anyone interested in the topic. At the same time, I collaborate as a mentor in courses at Deeplearning.ai and serve as a Community TA in Databricks courses, where I try to assist students with their questions. But primarily, I believe that creating quality and free content is the best way to help. Of course, you can also provide feedback to people who ask for it, but those will always be more individualized interactions.

AI professionals should spend more time helping their communities learn about AI since it will probably come with intrinsic and extrinsic rewards. Be generous for selfish reasons. I've found in all areas, not just AI, that sharing / teaching knowledge helps you learn more. The questions you get from colleagues will highlight new (or shared) problems and give you a much wider view of both the technical and business domains.

They are free, simple, valuable, and easy to understand, they are also in short durations, so what are you waiting for? You can find some great courses with those features on Udemy.
