🙈One of the toughest parts of networking for me is just opening the conversation. 😖Especially when you're starting out and feel like you don't have much to offer, it can be intimidating. 🍻My go to is "Hello, my name is Scott, I do systems design at X, what's your name what do you do?" Once they tell you their name, I default to ONE of three questions: 🏆What are you currently working on? 🕹️What are currently playing? 🤔How did you get to where you are in the industry? 🗣️People generally like talking about themselves or their work, this helps you to get the conversation started. 👍Once you've chatted with them a little bit you can try to solve their problems, ask them to connect on LinkedIn, or meet up again later for coffee.
