For that I don't rule out courses, but I think it is much more efficient to read, understand and force yourself to inform others about your niche of knowledge. Doing it professionally guarantees you the need to understand in order to explain. This is the method that has worked best for me.

For me there is no other network than LinkedIn. In corporate sustainability there are different forums and things to go to, but the quickest one is LinkedIn. There are profiles with a lot of talent and knowledge. In addition, when you start to acquire a certain level within your area, you even find it easy to detect the good professionals from the smoke peddlers. Initially, I started to collaborate selflessly in different non-governmental organizations. This allowed me to help and learn along the way.
