I would like to add one factor to this list, "Stay Consistent" In design world, consistency is key. For initial days, you may rely on hard work but as you refine the skills and get a good grasp of your software, switch to smart work. Most times it happens, if we do great on a project, we start to think, "I've become perfect at it & I don't require to practice it at all" but that's when you actually need to practice more, because you've just learnt how to do it, it's not a part of your muscle memory. Similarly, if we were not able to achieve the required output on a project, we start to loose confidence and question our choices. At the end, it comes down to consistency, the more you practice, the better you understand!
