Colaborando en una compañía tecnológica líder en su sector, teníamos proyectos constantes para la innovación y mantenimiento de servicios digitales, utilizados por miles de clientes, con ese alcance decidí establecer un principio “no comprometemos al cliente”, implementando un rigor muy estricto en todo el proceso de desarrollo de software, pruebas, control de calidad, control de cambios y configuración, monitoreo y procedimiento para revertir en caso de ser necesario, se tomaban todas las medidas de mitigación para que los procesos de innovación y mantenimiento fueran constantes, asumir riesgos no era aceptable y al perfeccionarse los procesos, nos sentimos más tranquilos, receptivos y dinámicos para la innovación y mejora continua.

Then, I allocate resources specifically for innovative projects without compromising the stability of our ongoing activities. It's crucial to set clear priorities and timelines, so the team knows when to focus on stability and when to push the boundaries. Regularly reviewing our progress and being willing to adjust our strategies ensures we stay on course. This balance allows us to innovate while keeping the business stable and resilient

A leadership dilema, not easy to solve. Ambidexterity, is a quite difficult organizational capability to developed, and urgent at the same time. While organization´s operations should continue improving and providing benefits, at the same time they need to stablish an organisim to innovate, recreate, be ahead and find new ways and sources of doing business and serve customers. Is like foster an internal startup, to disrupt the same organization.
