Clients should know what, if anything, will be shared and with whom. Stakeholders should understand and accept that confidentiality is a cornerstone of coaching. The coach should feel confident that they can be professional and follow ethical standards. Basically, let there be no surprises. For them, for you, for anyone.

Eine offene und ehrliche Kommunikation ist die Basis für Vertrauen im Coaching. Besteht kein Vertrauen, kann der Coachingprozess kaum erfolgreich sein. Denn nur dann kann sich der Coachee öffnen. Kann ein solcher offener Austausch nicht erfolgen oder wird gar ein kostenloses Erstgespräch verweigert, sollte der Coachee für sich hinterfragen, ob das die Atmosphäre ist, in der er sich im Coaching öffnen kann.

Effectivement la confidentialité est un sujet. Je m'appuie sur le code de déontologie et le contrat qui a été signé. Si c'est un contrat tripartite en entreprise, j'informe le prescripteur que je ne donne pas de contenu hormis les dates prévues si demandées. Par ailleurs mon client á la fin du coaching lors de la réunion tripartite de clôture parle et non moi. Je le prépare mais je ne restitue pas et je ne donne pas de dossier. Si mon client doute, on en parle et d'ailleurs ça peut être un sujet de séance le cas échéant...
