Here's how you can ace technical interview questions in a conference interview.

For me, getting basic fundamental knowledge is key. If you haven't studied Software Engineering (SE) or Computer Science (CS), go through key basic learning of concepts common to most software development languages. Don't just stick with terminology from Vendor/Framework, invest the time to dive deeper and understand what the fundamental building blocks do. If you have SE or CS background but not hands-on in last 5-10years, brush up on latest Tech (eg. cloud, serverless, Data Engineering, etc.) and Engineering practices (eg. Git, SDLC, CI/CD, "Agile", etc.). Some aspects haven't changed on fundamentals, but there is a lot of new layers Developers need to learn to make it in the real world - and they will be useful.

É necessário ser claro e objetivo, como também honesto com o entrevistador. Uma boa oratória, postura, clareza, pesquisar um pouco do processo do qual irá participar é um bom caminho para atingir um resultado positivo.

If you are able to, I recommend solving problems that your Company asks in coding interviews. If you cannot, or additionally, I recommend getting practical exercise books such as "cracking the coding interview". Personally I did both to uplift massively my levels of technical and practical business coding exercise experience. Try to use various tools and languages if you're not sure what specialism you want too! Use the interview/question material to guide on what to expect and pitfalls. Go deep, look at follow-up probes, and search online for alternative solutions and pros/cons. Stick to this practice and by the 5th or 10th problem you're solving you will be using the right algorithms, data structures, architecture, or syntax.

You often hear people want a team player - and that is very true. Codebases are shared and no one is in your head, and you don't know why others approached the problem in a certain way.. and often comments or documentation is not enough. Through constantly voicing over the breakdown of the problem, and focusing on each step provided (usually the answer is in the problem statement), your ability to explain will be crisper than ever. You will then hear comments or tips from interviewers, and following their hints or explaining why not politely (and rationally!) is a big soft skill +.

Em uma entrevista é importante apresentar exemplos de softs skills que colocou em prática e obteve sucesso.

Understanding why the coding exercise is there is a really important part of knowing the culture of the company you are going to. Always share more than what you have time to actually do in the exercise (like proper TDD, automation, refactoring, etc.) and also why it is important to them.

Ao fazer perguntas em uma entrevista, é necessário entender sua relevância, pois precisam estar conectadas ao processo ao qual está participando. É importante você estar preparado para perguntar. Condicione suas perguntas ao propósito da empresa, cultura e clima organizacional, o quanto a empresa investe e se dedica a saúde mental, como é a relação de líderes e liderados, pois é através desse retorno que identificará se possui o famoso fit cultural e se realmente quer fazer parte disso.

Spot where you struggled, go and study some more. Rinse and repeat to perfect. Failing to get everything right is normal, it's learning from it that counts.
