Hannaford Supermarkets in Portland, Maine will not longer offer Redbox kiosks in their stores as of June 15, according to a Q97.9 report.

The announcement, posted directly onto the Redbox kiosks, also requests customers return DVDs by June 15.

The news follows Redbox's recent campaigns to increase the number of catalog and niche titles offered, as well as efforts to add 1,500 Redbox kiosks to Dollar Generals across the country.

Redbox kiosks became popular in the early 2000s, but have since declined in popularity as streaming services have become the primary source of at-home entertainment for families and individuals.
