Deceased Do Not Contact Registration

The ANA provides a Deceased Do Not Contact List (DDNC) to assist family members, friends and caretakers seeking to remove the names of deceased individuals from commercial marketing lists. The Deceased Do Not Contact List is available to companies and nonprofit organizations for the sole purpose of removing names and addresses from their marketing and fundraising lists.

What are the expected results?
When you register a name with DDNC, the person's name, address, phone number and email address is placed on a special do not contact file. This service is available to all marketers (ANA members and all other industry members). A new, updated file is distributed every month to subscribing companies. We expect that you will see a reduction in your promotional mail within three months.

How to Register
Friends, relatives and caregivers can register the deceased individual for $1 using the form below.

Verification
There is a $1 authentication fee to register for the Deceased Do Not Contact List. Consumers will be asked for an email address when registering. An email will be sent to this address which will have a link to verify registration.
