Has anyone found out how to rob stores? I go in point gun in lady face she just stands there

I haven't done it a lot but that seems to work for me okay when I have.

Draw your gun, aim at the shopkeeper and wait untill they put their hands in the air.
Then you have too wait a few more seconds before they give you the cash.
