MC LA: Multiplayer Problem

I try to play MC LA with a friend, and whenever I invite him to join the match/race it writes on his screan "The match cant be joined" or something like that. When he invites me, I have the same problem.

Could you help? I have no idea how to solve it. When we play other games online it works well.

My best answer is that Rockstar did a really bad job with MCLA's online.

Laggy framerate, only shows like 30 friends, connection issues. I mean I love customization and single player but the multiplayer is really crap.
