3 was the only halo i've ever played. i thought it was good and it kept me entertained.. but i found COD a lot better at the time. i was thinking about getting an XB1 and saw 5 is coming out soon, so i was wondering if the basics are pretty much the same? i was checking out some multiplayer video, but you can only see so much and it's obviously not the same as actually playing.
is halo 5 multiplayer similar to 3?

Yeah it's hard to play halo 3 after playing Reach for years and years. I prefer halo reach overall but 3 was amazing back in the day before everything turned into call of duty.
Which is why I dont think I will be playing halo 5 mp at all as I just sick of call of duty at this point and how everything just tries emulating what brings all the 12 year olds to get their parents to buy the game.
