From wet tyres to dry???

Hi,Im new here so dont yell to much.
When I start a wet race(in career mode)and then track drys and I pit the team still put on inters/wets instead of drys like all the other team.
Can I decide what tyres go on?and how?
Hpoe Ive explained this right.

Yeah easy mate use ur D pad (directional buttons) choose tires n choose option or prime.
reminder its while ur still racing u do this
