I am just getting a bit fed up with the deplomacy in Medieval II.

I always seem to have allies with outstanding relations or even perfect relations and then they betray me. Is there anyway to fix this or some kind of mod that will fix this. Cause i can never have long lasting ally.

Not that I know of. Just some tips to keep them as allies though:

Don't share borders with them and fortify any borders you do have.
Make sure they are involved in an ACTIVE (ie actually fighting) war, prefarably with a common enemy.
Keep good relations.
Be well liked by the pope (if your allies are catholic).
Share allies/form alliance rings[/li]
