I'm pretty sure this is the only Dere Dere Fall Classic to span every season EXCEPT Fall.

From Round 1 Fern, Frieren and Irisviel were trading blows, who was the strongest? Miku was there too, but she'd clearly fall to any of those 3. In Round 1 Frieren only got 2 votes to Fern's 4 and Irisviel's 5 votes. Fern got the top score so she got the #1 seed. They pretty well remained neck-n-neck through Field of 64 and Round of 32, including Lovels. But that's when I watched Frieren and so Frieren started to pull away, really Loveling up and pulling the biggest scores, meanwhile Fern struggled a bit, tied with Chisato, whom might've been Champion if the game started at the usual time of year. Irisviel also struggled a bit against Maple. Frieren and Irisviel were in the same Round 1 match, which Irisviel won, but in the Elite 8, it was Frieren that dominated Irisviel. After Fern had another close encounter with Miku it was master versus pupil, but Frieren is a Great Mage, a mountain that Fern is not yet ready to climb, so Frieren also dominated Fern and went on to further dominate the LEGENDS champion, Suzuha, becoming DFC XVII Champion! Congratulations to Frieren and her fans! Condolences to Fern and her fans as she sort of fell off as Frieren got in on.

Suzuha is a 2x Runner Up and a solid member of the uncrowned Champions club

2 rookie Champions in a row, and they both mainly crushed the competition, but last year we had the youngest DFC Champion (5y/o) and now we went straight to the oldest DFC Champion (>1000y/o).
