Season is getting canceled for sure right?

probably

ACC is expected to announce the same, with Notre Dame being allowed to play with them.

Pac-12 is reportedly looking at it, though Bama's AD says he believes Bama/USC will still go on.

SEC AD's are meeting on Monday.

Big 12 commish said he felt it was 'too early' to make this kind of decision which is laughable

A few weeks and it'll be a division schedule and a championship game.

Then a few weeks after that, season canceled.

Unless this bubble deal works for other leagues, which I still have serious doubts. And football rosters are huge compared to everyone else.

If Stanford had to cut athletic programs the non P5 schools are going to have their budgets crushed by not getting their paydays to go be some big school’s cupcake game.

Coffee is for closers
What does this do with cross-conference rivalries like USCe-Clemson, FSU-UF, UGA-Ga Tech, etc? Anyone have any idea? Maybe they play those anyway since they're in state?

Oh hell who am I kidding we're not getting college football :(

Make revenue off of it, pay per game. I’d pay $8 - $10 for select games so they could have a season if no fans in the stadium is the issue.

To go to a PPV-style model like @immaking2010 suggested? I can't envision a scenario where that would make sense for the TV networks.

They’ve already had the college game pass so it’d basically be taking some of the rights away from local national stations to where it’s a buy per game. With more things leaning to streaming programs I believe it’d be a solid option.

I have a feeling this season will be less about crowning a champion and more about giving people their football fix and making enough money to get by.

Man, we scheduled a H/H with Michigan a few years ago then they backed out to play Notre Dame, then we get a game scheduled with Notre Dame and it's likely getting cancelled too. Probably a good thing right now but we can't catch a break lol

well if the schedule is what they made it look to be, Florida is gonna go from a good favorable schedule.. to absolutely impossible to make it out alive with LSU, UGA, A&M and Bama.

so all they did was add an extra crossover game

penn state and ohio state still don't have to play either wisconsin or minnesota and michigan has to play both, extremely cool

Good luck getting thousands of student-athletes all over the country to be "good" for a whole season. I just fail to see how this happens. Much less start in less than a month.

good to see the b1g isn't the only conference with bullshit scheduling for its best teams to ensure they have the best records possible

LSU gets South Carolina, Missouri, and Vanderbilt. Love to see it.

Bama/UGA weren't going to get tough games since they're playing this season.

Arkansas/Missouri got absolutely fucked due to COVID. They're cross-rivals and were previously to set to have Tennessee/Miss State as their rotating opponents.

If the SEC really Is the only conference that plays I’ve got to decide who my team is going to be.

Always had a thing for Florida. Les made me love LSU too

I wonder how many players will sit out if they have a spring season. If I were a presumed 1st or 2nd round pick why do want to play in a spring season just to have to start an NFL career a couple months later? Who really can play 10 college games and 16 regular season NFL games in less than 1 year.

No way the players union would agree to squeezing two seasons into one year. First day of spring is March 20 no ones body is prepared to play a NFL season even if it was an abbreviated season then turn around for training camp in August and play through the Super Bowl in February 2022. If it’s not played in the fall I’m just planning on the NFL not happening.

As this goes on and we see other conferences playing, big and small, the B1G has become a laughing stock. Nebraska players suing the conference is amusing, but you have to wonder how affects the relationship going forward. Lol
