Honestly expected a little more "fun" looking at a weird creature. Some more gimmicks and not just a straight Snake puzzle game.
The first world was fun, mostly all finishable by yourself, sometimes used hints (which are pretty useless most of the time) but I got through it.
All dipped for me personally on the second world. So many steps in between everything, impossible to know if you're on the right track with something or not, hints did absolutely nothing for me, it just shows you a position of something or where you should go first but even getting there is usually so hard to figure out that I just looked up so much. No idea why you don't put a funny gimmick in the game that rly helps if you're stuck. Everything towards the end of the game seemed just impossible to me, what personally gets me is that its all "one" solution, games like this need to have a personal approach or it's just sudoku where the one mistake somewhere in between will destroy everything

Great game, falls just short of a 10 by some small reasons.
Encountered a couple small bugs, the last 2 bosses are pretty...meh and it's simply too short.
On a good note, it IS too short cause I wanted more to play cause it was so fun. Aswell as the first boss was fantastic to me, thats why the other 2 felt so lackluster. Super stylish as a whole and everything feels sharp. Awesome game

First Just Cause I've played, saw a couple of things before and it always looked like a fun game. After playing it....it's hard to say thats true. By no means is this a bad game but it's so...soulless. Barely any story or interesting dialogue, horribly ugly cutscenes, basicially no upgrade or reward system that makes any challenge actually worth playing them. At some point in the middle of the game I noticed theres upgrades for my 3 main things and was for a moment looking forward to it. Then saw it all kinda does....absolutely nothing. I don't know who made these decisions but why not put in fun upgrades? Things that matter and have an effect. It's probably fun for physic based interested people but how long can that last. Stuff like controlling helicopters is so bad. You get used to flying them but the camera and all...my god. I would gladly take the blame on me but I did actually get good at flying the wingsuit...which in itself just makes so much of the game pointless. Why drive a car or anything ever, you're just faster at everything. If there was anything going on outside of pointless random events that repeat itself after 2 times and bases that all look the exact same but nope. It's very likely the worst GTA like I ever played but the formula still works at its ABSOLUTE base, cause there is simply no core or anything in this. Cause the isle is still somewhat pretty and the game works I wanted to give this a very fair 7 BUT then the credits weren't skippable so it deserved the 6 :D

Tough one to judge. First of all, this is a solid game. I played through it fairly quick, pretty challenging at times but I had a good time.
The big issue here is the horrible tutorial that takes genuinely forever. You play all 4 of the main character through way too many missions with just them. You have no access to decks, you have random npcs that just suicide and when I started it and looked at these I honestly almost quick cause it seemed absolutely unpolished. No idea what wrong here or who designed this but this entry will scare off many players.
After this the game genuinely becomes a different game, you find up to 9 different characters, that you can all level and gain different builds and all. The variety is great, it is surprisingly a very depth system and tough as nails in some missions where you rly have to find a combination that works.
I was pretty sad that theres basicially zero customization, even changing weapons in-fight doesnt change anything. Also leveling up, just changing your character looks or anything would have been cool. Game overall is not the prettiest, but doesnt rly matter to me as long as the combat is fun.
Story is "ok" at best, very sad that all the "non" main squad people you encounter and bring along get zero dialogue or mention.
The people at work here rly made a fun challenging game, but it seems very soulless and died from what I can tell. There could have easily been a endless mode or sort of simply more content. Even the map seems unfinished
Personally got it free on Epic, wouldn't recommend it but it's surprisingly decent? Odd

Genuinely one of the best games I've ever encountered and I say that as a person that saw at max 2 Spiderman movies, couple Batmans and had not much to do with the whole Marvel universe (yes Batman is not in there, just a hero example).
First of all this games biggest weakspot are graphics. It is very ugly at times and animation are actually awkward and bad at times, this is rly the one reason not to give this game a 10 for me. On the other hand you can just tell how much time and effort went into this, so much dialogue, random events and all. Here were insane fans at work and did an absolute fantastic job.
It rly pains me to read that people think this "looks like a mobile game". That is heartbreaking if people don't give the super fleshed out combat system even a chance. So many games struggle with a difficulty system, this one works perfectly. It starts out quite challenging until you get a grip, then lets you increase the difficulty whenever you want for bigger rewards or just want a challenge. It's so hard to pinpoint a game today that never feels too easy or too hard and this one absolutely landed it.
Then theres the huge factor of nearly everything in this game is accessible by simply playing the game, the few expections beeing dlc behind a seasonpass. It got this free on Epic but ended up liking it so much that I purchased the seasonpass, very fun but wouldn't ever recommend it for the price. The dlc characters get added in nicely and the 12 missions are great but I still wish it would have been more (which in itself still means something good)
The game drives on interaction with all characters and is like 95% voiceacted. I finished this in a solid 142 hours and there were still chats popping up randomly that I've never encountered aswell as lots of skins that you "could" unlock. New game+ exists too, not for me personally but it's there
Please please do give this game a chance if you ever picked it up, such a fun ride....some might say a HELLRIDE

Honestly don't get why this game is so lowly rated. Really good decision based game. Never had contact to the whole Invincible universe and you still find into this really easy. It does a great job letting you play "you" as Eve and decision actually matter a ton. It doesn't rly force you into bullcrap you never chose, you can just play the version of Eve you want to be. It's a very emotional story, the universe in general seems very gruesome and you're just playing this young girl with powers trying to get her life under control. Theres turn-based combat here aswell with a talent tree which is just fine, nothing special. The game gets completely carried by the writing. Shame theres no voice acting but I get it
Highly recommend if you like visual novels with decisions

Honestly decent game, theres some really fun ideas here, every single lever gets a new gimmick, it has some nice high difficulty that gets harder and harder but never felt unfair. Story is quirky and well drawn, artstyle is might fine.
The only thing is the autorunner part. I genuinely didn't mind it and it actually produced some cool ideas but it's not like you can argue that free control would not be better. My main issue were that the secrets are hidden behind a seed system aswell as checkpoints on finishing levels. I'm not rly the person that wants to do a level completely again over and over to unlock secrets, only seen a few that I could actually complete aswell but feels like I left out a bit behind a wall I don't rly want to climb
Still challenging good game

Been awhile since I've been so conflicted on how to rate a game. Mostly phases in this game. I finished every content there was in this. Besides many people I rly do think the mainstory is great, it kept me interested, the finale is fantastic, not the highlight of this game for sure.
There are certain characters in this that rly carry the game for me, that beeing Poppy, Sebastian and a couple of the professors. They act very real and have understandable emotions, I wish there would have been even more backstory on some of the professors for example cause most of that is completely optional to find. Poppy was my personal favorite, as I always have more joy with the positive characters. Her plottwist came out of nowhere for me and made her such a strong character, even though even here I wish there was still more.
Combat, traversal, customization, talents are all very fun in this and with all these points, I rly though this HAS to be a 10/10 game.
But it really isn't.
It is so plagued by horrible design choices. The ammount of completely useless treasure dungeons in this game is insane, there was so much potential to just make literally half of them but put just rare visual things in there. No one cares about "upgrades" in this, just give me more outfits. Then theres the horrible gimmick of lockpicking. My god, the ammount and pointlessness of this feature drove me actually crazy. Put a fun minigame in, that requires just a few of my braincells instead of what it is and it's fun. Another thing that triggered me were the ammount of world puzzles that "wanted" you to climb a couple sections WAY after you had already unlocked your broom. Theres simply no reason to do any of this probably 20% in the game, so you just fly up on everything. It rly needed more restriction imo, sometimes linear stuff helps alot. Also characters like Natty for example rly didn't land for me. Decisions also didn't belong in here, just make a good and evil playthrough.
Great game cursed itself

What a fun ride. The game elements here aren't all that special. A couple mini games that repeat itself way too often, couple quest where you have to look for things; the usual. But everything gets carried by some fantastic writing, great humor and some very well written characters
Highly recommend this lovely story

Metro: Last Light ReduxBeat

I played this months after the first Metro, that I enjoyed but wasn't the biggest fan of, even though I could see why back then this could have blown peoples mind. Last Light took a good while for me to rly get invested, like it just plays on exactly like the first beeing led by npcs, the slowest pacing in the world, listening to conversations when genuinely you're just like "LET ME PLAY"
It's odd though, I always stood there with random side npcs and listenend to their conversations that honestly drag on for far too long but the lore here is always rly interesting and dark (besides the horrible English voice acting).
At some point you just play more and more by yourself and while the game seriously feels zero scary, there are such intense terrifying parts when monsters rush you and whatnot. The stealth parts feel kinda cheesy with how little enemies see in dim light but it's always optional, so I usually just stealthed who I could and left the ones that felt "stupid easy" and then initiated a fight which gave some nice diversity. I don't know what it is but the longer the game went on the more interested I got, the world just feels very alive when I compare it to lets say a Fallout city where everything always feels the same. Animations here are oddly real even though the graphics are mediocre at best and all the children with their horrible voices completely through my immersion off, the whole world feels super genuine. The complete same weapon mechanics from the same are disappointing and I never understood why you can upgrade, I just use what I find
"DLC" content here is very entertaining and they rly always tried to come up with something new which I respect alot.
This rly is one of the most immersive shooter games besides something like a Dead Space, hidden behind a rough package

Just not for me. Just too much dying and repeating the same enemies over and over, while getting new gear that all plays super fun and different but basicially zero difference in feeling stronger or taking more hits. You still easily die to the most common idiot enemy and lose progress for leveling. Surely fun for everyone that loves a challenge and Soulslike, but I'm just overwhelmed

Solid sidescroller beat 'em up. Could see it as a rly fun party game, probably chaotic as hell. As a solo player I liked the variety the characters had, the art style is fun and its a quick fun game. Little disappointed that theres just 4 characters, somehow the trailers looked like more but it were just the evolved forms of everyone which I wasn't the biggest fan of. Overall theres alot of lag even solo in the later games so I can imagine multiplayer could be very laggy. Biggest minus is the enemy variety, lots of re-used enemies in different looks, pretty lackluster bosses where parrying is just required which RLY isn't needed in this type of game. Just feels stupid op and is not fun as it never rly levels up or becomes different.
It's weird cause Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the snes used to be such a nostalgic game for me but nowadays even something fun like this, I just feel after 2 hours like I've seen it all and am bored, maybe it just needed more customizations and all. Missed chance also by making every bonus stage the exact same, even Street Fighter and Co did it better back then
Solid and great soundtrack though

One of these games that no one knows but seems super underrated. I played through this in like something around 10 hours and just had a lovely time. I never rly choose "Hard" as a first time playthrough option but I was in the mood for this and its genuinely necessary imo. It starts out fairly tough, but it's all still very manageable. Bosses are great, the artstyle is fantastic, fun writing, very good game.
My main critism is that it actually becomes quite easy the longer you play, I felt quite op in the later part of the game and found myself not learning bosses and all as much as at the start cause my damage was just so high. Which also brings my 2nd point, that the combat is still a LITTLE lackluster. Theres no regular mob design that actually feels like a challenge at any point of the game cause you just stab&shoot and everything goes down quickly. Platforming is super smooth though and the whole game feels very well done. I wouldn't have minded a couple more hours tbf, which should say alot. The backtracking is cloaked up very clever in a Castlevania kinda way and thats bout it.
Highly recommend

The better Fallout imo. I don't trashtalk that game whatsoever and I am glad for all the people that enjoy it, but if I just compare Outer Worlds and any Fallout game WITHOUT mods, this is superior. There are big flaws here aswell, the combat is pretty basic, the weapon balance is very odd, most npcs look so similar that not too many characters are memorable and I GUESS for the regular Skyrim/Fallout person the exploration isn't what they're used to.
BUT! this game has fantastic writing, every single dialogue in this game is voiceacted, decisions matter and the whole lore here is very interesting (sadly alot hidden behind textfiles you find).
If you want a more linear Fallout game, lets say similar to a Mass Effect, this game is for you. Always free to do what you want, tons of different approaches to any situation, never too overwhelming and just a great time.
I would give the maingame a 8, the Gorgon dlc a 7 and the Murder dlc a 10 which probably still creates a 8...BUT WELL, I rly had a great time (100+hours) so it is AT LEAST a 9. Very hyped for the 2nd hopefully this year
