That's right, there's a sequel to Continuum Shift on the way for arcade goers. Currently, all that's known is that the game will run on Taito's Type X2 arcade board, will have a standard 8-way lever and 4 button control scheme, and will hit arcades this Winter.
The game will also have Valkenhayn R Hellsing as a playable character. Valkenhayn will be available for play at the AM Show.
The mention of Valkenhayn has many thinking that Continuum Shift II will actually just be an arcade version of the home version of Continuum Shift -- that is, an arcade title with all the improvements made for the home version. Valkenhayn is the second downloadable character for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, and will be available in late September.
The Amusement Machine Show will be held in Chiba starting on the 9th. We'll be sure and let you know what BlazBlue surprises emerge.
