The ICO is made up of a small team of public officers supporting the Commissioner across a broad range of statutory functions. These functions include promoting public awareness of the rights under the PATI Act, providing guidance for and oversight of public authorities’ compliance with the PATI Act, and deciding reviews of public authorities’ decisions and actions under the PATI Act. From time to time, the ICO retains specialist services or local consultants.
