Play four dynamite demos during Steam Next Fest

June 10 2024

June’s Steam Next Fest has begun, and you know what that means: tons of awesome games to try! Taking place now until June 17, Next Fest is a chance to check out demos of upcoming games, watch livestreams, and add even more must-plays and can’t-waits to your Steam wishlist.

This Next Fest, Humble Games has four great demos from some incredible indie devs for you play, including three playable premieres—Wizard of Legend 2, Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus, On Your Tail—and one favorite from last Next Fest resurrected for a limited time, #BLUD

Wizard of Legend 2

Developed by Dead Mage

Try your hand at the spell-slinging trials of the first-ever single-player demo of Wizard of Legend 2, the upcoming 3D rogue-lite sequel to the acclaimed dungeon-delving original. Don your most enchanted robe, pick out your favorite Arcana, and journey to the Floating Lands to prove yourself worthy!

Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus

Developed by Squid Shock Studios

Journey into a dreamlike realm of yokai and monsters in the first-ever demo for Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus, the 2.5D metroidvania-style action-platformer inspired by Japanese folklore. In this demo, you’ll have a chance to explore two early areas of the game, battle a pair of bosses, and get a taste of the game’s acrobatic combat before Bō launches on July 17.

On Your Tail

Developed by Memorable Games

Investigate the mysteries of Borgo Marina in the debut demo for On Your Tail, launching later this year! In this sample of the Memorable Games’ sleuthy story-driven life sim, you’ll find yourself searching for clues, hanging out with the town’s inhabitants, and having the time of your life engaging in some of this seaside town’s relaxing activities.

#BLUD

Developed by Exit 73 Studios

If you didn’t get a chance to sink your teeth into the #BLUD demo during last February’s Next Fest, we’ve resurrected it for a limited time! Check out this earlier version of the cartoon dungeon crawler while you can, and get your #BLUD pumping for the game’s official launch on June 18 (hey, that’s really soon)!
