I am using Appsheet Webhooks feature to send REST API request to an external service (FASTAPI server). It returns JSON response values. When I monitor automation bot, it indicates success in getting JSON response. When I try to update a column in data row, it does not work at all. It was a frustrating experience for me. I finally came to know that AppSheet Webhooks (currently) cannot parse JSON data.
Solution: I have to use Google Apps Script or APIGEE server to parse JSON data. Even MicroSoft Power Apps provide this feature.
It is a huge bug (or missing feature) in Appsheet Webhooks that must be addressed immediately.
In the absence of this missing feature, AppSheet does not fully quality as No Code app.
Please, fix it within a week time.
