Emmy Nominees for Multiple Series: Drama Supporting Actor and Actress

A quarter century after she won a Best Drama Supporting Actress Emmy on her first bid for “The Practice,” Holland Taylor returned to the category as a cast member of “The Morning Show.” Along with fellow 2024 nominee Christine Baranski (“The Gilded Age”), she joined a group of 15 other male and female recipients of drama supporting notices for multiple series. Tour our photo gallery to learn who else belongs to this special group.

Including Taylor, eight of the 17 performers on this roster won for at least one of their nominated roles. The lone dual honoree in the bunch is Tyne Daly, who clinched Best Drama Supporting Actress trophies for both “Christy” (1996) and “Judging Amy” (2003). Also listed are Jonathan Banks and Giancarlo Esposito, who were each recognized in the male category for three different series.

Although featured drama series performers were not permanently afforded genre-specific categories until 1970, those who contended for earlier generic honors such as “Best Series Supporting Actor” are counted here.
