The role reunites Enos with “For All Mankind” star Joel Kinnaman. The two previously starred opposite one another in the AMC/Netflix series “The Killing.” https://t.co/iIwRCFWj62

July 10, 2024 at 7:29 pm #1205882362I wonder if Jeff Bridges could actually take SAG… what’s holding me back is that it’s on FX and it’s underwatched because he fits the Jason Bateman void to the bone.
It’ll probably be LJJ though given how much they love Netflix, or even Sanada in a sweep.ReplyCopy URLIt's all about the 3x Best Drama Series winner Succession!

It wasn’t particularly underwatched. Old skewing? Sure, but this is SAG.
Also would think Netflix could bump up Sewell to lead for The Diplomat.

I was not predicting him at SAG but now Severance is out he feels obviously in. He was the male lead of season 1 but given how the season ended I’m not sure how much he’s in on the next one, he will probably happen at the Globes wherever they place him though.
Also as an aside, what about The Franchise? Shouldn’t it have a date by now?

I am assuming her and the rest of the cast aren’t allowed to say a single thing about S2, which limits potential interview topics, but its not like actors being interviewed when a show isn’t currently airing is unheard of. She is active on social media which will probably help..
Yeah, she does. I think it’s more or less her main issue (outside of the acting style on the show being slightly cold) The benefit of having six months lead time is potentially giving her team a fair bit of time to position her.
Whilst she is active on social her following is awfully low for a lead, about 70K on IG (especially one whose show has been out 2.5 years), low enough I suspect it might be blocking some of her publicity opportunities – having a gigantic following is not quite as big a deal as people think but there’s a big difference between 70K and even 300K. She’s also going to be 40 by the next years Emmys so a bit old to be positioned like an ingenue too.

Her latest outing, Expats, is the latest in a long line of prestige television dramas in which she wafts about the place as an ethereal, privileged woman haunted by a secret sorrow that all the exquisite soft furnishings and beach views in the world cannot ameliorate.”
Terrible take because Expats was great! (and where were the beach views?)

They still say it’s September and industry is scheduled until September 29 so maybe it’s their first Thursday show?
ReplyCopy URLJuly 11, 2024 at 10:17 am #1205882636meh. Kidman being attached to a lot of these things is probably getting them made and keeping people in work. And Expats was good.
