I just read Don Diamont’s book: My seven sons and how we raised each other (they only drive me crazy 30% of the time). It was a good read. Don has lead a very interesting life, to say the least. I don’t want to give out any spoilers, but if you’re a fan of his, I highly recommend reading it.
I’d love to see Doug Davidson and Melody Thomas Scott write books as well.

ReplyCopy URLJanuary 27, 2019 at 7:33 am #1202750233Didn’t Jane Elliot say she and Eileen Davidson were gonna open a hair salon when she finally retired? I wanna read a book about THAT place. And have it be a sassy show on streaming.

Yes, it’s Deidre Hall (:
I would most want to read an autobiography by Robin Strasser! (:

Victoria Rowell has written some wonderful books; but I’d love to see a memoir specifically about her acting career.
Oh and Debbi Morgan wrote a book last year or the year before called “The Monkey On My Back” and it is really good. It is about her childhood and her family life.
I just read Kim Zimmer’s book and I agree 100% with you. It was an easy read, but very enjoyable. I like the fact she was honest, especially about her drinking.

ReplyCopy URLJune 11, 2019 at 9:57 am #1202932968I would love to read a no-holds barred autobiography by Elizabeth Hubbard! (: Kathryn Hays would be great, as would Don Hastings, who was continuously on daytime from 1956-2010! (: So many others! (:

You know I have been currently watching old ATWT on YT lately. A book written on that would be great. That show has the richest history and strongest acting ever.
ReplyCopy URLApril 27, 2020 at 2:21 pm #1203450315Melody Thomas Scott’s book is now coming out August 18 (it was originally supposed to come out earlier), but due to the corona virus she and her publisher decided to push it back.
ReplyCopy URLNovember 9, 2020 at 7:42 pm #1203825580I just got done reading MTS book, “Always Young and Restless”. If you’re a fan of Melody Thomas Scott, I highly recommend reading it. It flows really well. I don’t want to give out any spoilers, but I didn’t realize all the stuff she went through as a child/young woman. I also didn’t know she had a love of game shows!
ReplyCopy URLOctober 25, 2022 at 1:28 am #1205131708Susan Lucci wrote a memoir after “AMC” was cancelled and I have it sitting on my shelf and have not been able to make it past the introduction. She wrote a very bland, boring book.
Maurice Benard is definitely one of my heroes, he should have written this book, maybe with https://writingbros.com/essay-examples/teamwork/ His struggle with depression should be the focus of this book. I think his experience in the fight against this disease could be adopted by thousands of readers. People could delve deeper into the root causes of depression, get to know themselves and overcome this ailment
ReplyCopy URLNovember 4, 2022 at 4:51 pm #1205141914I just thought of another person who should write a book; or host a podcast… Sarah Joy Brown. I have no doubt she would be brutally honest and I feel she would have a LOT to say. She has had some very frustrating experiences in daytime from what she has publicly said so far.

May 22, 2024 at 8:49 am #1205839768Having read Tom Lisanti’s book about Ryan’s Hope I would love books on other soaps, particularly Loving and Santa Barbara, maybe Sunset Beach – or with the long-running soaps follow-ups to the books from the 1990’s filling in the rest of the years of the shows runs.
I do wish Robin Strasser would write a no-holds barred account of her years on the soaps.
What is happening with Nancy Lee Grahn’s book? it was supposed to come out earlier this year but I don’t think it has been released yet???
