Just catching up now that the last of the predictions center categories has been awarded, so congrats to Buddy Valastro and the 4 GoldDerby users who predicted his win for Outstanding Culinary Host! And Robert Downey Jr. doesn’t need to wait to see if he wins an Emmy for The Sympathizer to inch closer to an EGOT because he won as an executive producer of Downey’s Dream Cars, which won for Outstanding Lifestyle Program.

Finally a lead actress Emmy winner I can get behind. Stafford was long overdue. I saw that performance and story in my brief watching online. Stafford should have won in 2010 when Maura won for a standalone (deserving win on its own) on ATWT.

I had no idea that Melody Thomas Scott started on young and the restless at the age of 3. That’s amazing, kinda gives a whole new meaning to lifetime achievement award, well deserved. Congratulations to Dick Van Dyke as well, at least days won something, boo General Hospital. lol

I hate to say this but it seems to me that Days hasn’t been winning Emmys since it moved to Peacock last year. Idk if it has something to do with network support but something is off with the hate for DOOL on the judges panel.

I was shocked that I came in 5th place and had the second highest percentage! Keeping GH in for the trifecta worked out well for me.

I don’t watch Days but for me at least none of the 3 shows I watch deserve to win for 2024 – the writing hasn’t been good, the performers have been wonderful as they always are but they are having to carry some really poor storylines – at least that is how it is for me this year.

Melody started acting at 3. She was in her early 20s when she got the role of Nikki Reed Newman.
