At GOG, we are on a mission to make games last forever by helping people across generations fall in love with games. We are looking for a candidate to join our team for the position of Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Monthly Management Reporting (including business narration, comments and deviations to the Budget/Forecast)
  • Accountable for creating, updating, and maintaining financial models to provide detailed Budgets and periodic Forecasts
  • Understand business assumptions and processes
  • Deep understanding of P&L / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow (including VAT/sales and income taxes)
  • Support month-end closing processes (including calculation of the provisions)
  • Recommend changes to improve financial performance and reporting processes
  • Provide standardized reporting to support the decision making processes
  • Support the implementation and development of controlling tools (including the new ERP implementation process)
  • Performing the profitability analysis of investment projects
  • Accountable for the Tax and Treasury area
  • Support financial projects and other ad-hoc duties in accordance with management needs

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, financial controlling and analysis preferably gathered in a corporate environment in a multinational company and/or FMCG
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting terminology, including base consolidation principles
  • Good understanding of general tax processes and rules
  • Minimum 4 years of team management experience
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, ability to easily communicate in English
  • A black belt in MS Office (Excel). Knowledge of Power Query would be a significant plus
  • Desire to take ownership of the processes and ensure performance of tasks of the team
  • Coordination, planning and organization skills - proven ability to prioritize workload to meet critical deadlines
  • Positive attitude, capable of inspiring and motivating the team to address challenges proactively
  • Problem solving skills: taking initiatives and bringing solutions. We like to move things forward at GOG.com rather than get stuck on worrying
