There are a whole lot of sales going on this time of year, as both Amazon and its competitors gear up for Prime Day 2024. And if you're a fan of From Software, you'll want to peruse the buy two, get one free book deals at Amazon and Target, since both retailers are offering up a wide range of books based on Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring.

To cash in on the offers at Target, you'll need to sign up for Target Circle. Membership is free and takes just a few minutes to complete. For Amazon, you'll need to be a Prime member. If you can't find three From Software books to complete the B2G1 free process, hundreds of other books are eligible for the savings--so be sure to check out their full catalogs.

As far as From Software books are concerned, Dark Souls: Design Work is a great option right now. Not only is it part of the B2G1 free sale, but it is currently discounted to just $29 (down from $40). You can pair it with the Dark Souls 2: Design Works, which is also on sale for $37 (down from $50). Both volumes include a detailed look at the characters, locations, enemies, and lore of their respective worlds.

If you don't mind waiting for your books to arrive, you'll find several preorders included in the savings. One of the coolest items you can reserve is the Dark Souls Graphic Novel Box Set (1-3), which gets you three books written by Star Wars writer George Mann, all of which are brought to life with vivid (and visceral) images from horror artist Alan Quah. It arrives on September 17, so consider reserving a copy today if you want it on your bookshelf later this year.

Once you're done skimming through these deals, check out all the video games on sale during Target's B2G1 free sale and Amazon's B2G1 free sale. We've also pulled together all the best deals during Target Circle Week, along with a huge roundup of Walmart deals--featuring games, accessories, collectibles, Lego sets, and more.

Note: Retailers are going out of stock and adjusting which books are part of their B2G1 free catalog. Because of this, pricing and availability may fluctuate.
