The official launch times of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree have been announced, revealing that console players and PC players will be able to jump into the massive expansion at different times.

From Software shared the DLC launch times on X (formerly Twitter,) revealing that Shadow of the Erdtree will be available for console players at midnight local time on June 21 in most regions, while the PC version will be available at the same time for everyone, regardless of region. For console players in the United States, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will launch at 9 PM PT on June 20 / 12 AM ET on June 21. For the rest of the globe, the console version launches at midnight local time on June 21.

For PC Players, the launch will happen at the same time across the globe; see below for your timezone.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree PC launch time

  • 3 PM PT June 20
  • 5 PM CT June 20
  • 6 PM ET June 20
  • 11 PM BST June 20
  • 8 AM AEST June 21

This means that the PC version will be available earlier than the console version in the western part of the globe, like the US and Great Britain, but the console version will be available first in the eastern part, like Australia. PlayStation players will be able to preload the expansion and update for Elden Ring 48 hours ahead of launch, while PC and Xbox players will have to download it once it becomes available in their region.

Anyone looking to jump into the Shadow of the Erdtree should make sure they have beaten the optional boss necessary to access the DLC, something that 60% of Steam players haven't done yet. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launches on June 21 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
