In March, Game Informer called #IDARB an indie title to watch for its competitive eSports multiplayer and its pixel-specific character creation tool. Now, Developer Other Ocean is showing off how robust its customization options are by tossing guest characters from renowned game developers into the mix.

Double Fine, Harmonix, Capy Games, Oddworld Inhabitants, and more have thrown in a diverse array of guest characters including Raz from Psychonauts, a team of Rock Band instruments, and the cast of D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die. I might be wrong, but #IDARB just may be the first title to allow players to control a platforming drum kit.

#IDARB is a unique collaboration between the minds of Other Ocean Interactive and the good people of the internet. The developer began the project by post an image of a red box on Twitter, asking users what game should become of it. The result became a 8-player eSport ball game where players smash each other and pick up bizarre power ups to get an edge over each other.

For more on #IDARB and its origins, check out our interview with its Creative Director Mike Mika. The gallery below also has your first look at the some of the guest characters you can play when #IDARB releases on Xbox One this fall.
