Business Owners Participate In Community-Wide Public Safety Programs Utilizing Fūsus Technology

Business owners are always looking for ways to protect their assets and the solution isn’t always readily available or even affordable. The first line of defense usually consists of security cameras, alarm systems, and physical security. The problem though, is making sure every location can be accounted for in real-time. Driving to and from businesses isn’t sustainable and having to call for details when incidents occur can render important information hard to interpret. One of the main goals for business owners is to keep their patrons safe during their retail experiences–security is a top priority. Fūsus was designed to meet the needs of any business owner who wants to keep their businesses safe, and create profitable hubs within their neighborhoods.

Fūsus is a major force multiplier for anyone who provides a service in public spaces where groups of people gather. With one CORE device connected to a camera of any kind, administrators can take all of their camera feeds and unify them into a single pane of glass that they can view and interact with. This is a major security upgrade for owners with numerous establishments. Camera feeds connected through FūsusONE can all be consolidated into one place, regardless of the location of the properties, eliminating the need to travel to respond to potential emergencies. Business owners can always be in the loop without ever having to waste time and resources to be physically present. This security asset is a must have for those who manage several properties.

Fūsus also gives business leaders the ability to be active participants in their community’s safety through the FūsusREGISTRY and FūsusCORE programs. By registering their camera systems or sharing live video feeds with local law enforcement, their facilities can be an extra but necessary set of eyes in the event of a crime or an emergency that happens at their location or nearby.

Cameras in places like gas stations have proven beneficial to helping solve crime in the community.

The other added benefit also comes in the form of communication. Owners like having the ability to check in on their businesses remotely without having to call managers during or outside of working hours when emergencies happen. With CORE connected cameras, police can utilize these privately-owned cameras with their permission as well. Police would be able to access their cameras in real-time, check for credible and reliable information, use it for actionable evidence, and never have to go door to door or contact the camera owner or conduct unnecessary interviews.

Virtual and physical alert buttons can activate camera sharing only on alert, so camera owners decide when and with whom their feeds are shared. The FūsusONE platform can be configured to only display the information that matters, based on the role of the user, and only allow access when an emergency alert is triggered.

Businesses will also now have access to GPS tracking devices that can be concealed in a variety of different ways such as phones, retail security tags, batteries, and cargo thanks to a partnership with Ensurity Mobile. Assets attached to these devices are then monitored for theft. Combining the power of the Fūsus RTC3 with Ensurity will help dispatch the police, recover stolen products and apprehend the suspects involved. Local police will be enabled to respond to these alerts in a simplified manner, decreasing the amount of manpower needed to respond to reports of theft and shoplifting. By integrating different tools, business owners can not only protect their assets, but play an even more active role in their communities by allowing their resources to be used.

The technology-agnostic design of the Fūsus platform enables any security software or hardware to be directly integrated into the system without the hassle of having to learn multiple new platforms and pay for a new suite of products. Fūsus is the only operating system that has that capability and it continues to pay dividends for businesses across the country. Police are able to decrease their response times, evaluate situations faster, and diffuse potentially dangerous events, due to the higher levels of situational awareness they now have.

Business owners can have the trust and assurance that their area is protected and that they are also in a place to help their community in return. This public/private partnership is more than just a transaction. It’s an actionable step that creates the ecosystem of a safer city. It starts here.
