The matchup between Esben and The Witch and noise-rock supremo Steve Albini, producer of the Brighton trio’s third album, opens with a ponderous Godspeed You! Black Emperor tribute, “Press Heavenwards!”, but achieves lift-off with the intense “Jungle”, in which a trumpet offsets the clattering guitars and drums with a mournful clarion call.
