Meta Payments Inc. (“Meta Payments,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a licensed money transmitter and money service business (NMLS ID: 918740) providing payment and related services (“Payment Services”), as well as services relating to storing payment instruments (“Credential Storage Services”). This privacy policy (the “Policy”) explains how, when providing Payment Services and Credential Storage Services, Meta Payments collects, uses, and shares information.
Although Meta Payments is a separately incorporated subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc. we work closely with other subsidiaries and affiliates within the Meta Platforms, Inc. group of companies (collectively, “Meta Companies”) who offer the Meta Products. In accordance with applicable Terms of Service and/or Payment Terms, we provide Payment Services and Credential Storage Services to individual and business users (“Users”) of certain Meta Products, and we receive information from, and provide services to, the Meta Companies offering those Meta Products. Accordingly, information you provide to other Meta Companies, and their practices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of that information, is also subject to the Meta Privacy Policy in addition to the privacy policies published by other relevant Meta Companies.
If you reside in or have a principal place of business in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, or any other country outside of the European Region, and if you store a payment instrument with us through Meta Products, please see the “Credential Storage Services” and “General Information” sections below, as those sections are the only parts of this Policy that apply to you.
If you reside in or have a principal place of business in the United States or Canada, and if you’re receiving Payment Services from us, the following section entitled “Payment Services” also applies to you.

Payment Services

This section of the Policy applies to Users with a residence or principal place of business in the United States and Canada to whom we’re providing Payment Services for certain Meta Products. It sets out our practices relating to our collection, use, and sharing of your Personal Information when providing Payment Services.
When we talk about "Personal Information" in this section, we're referring to the non-public, personal financial details you share with us when you use our Payment Services. This also includes any information that results from your use of Payment Services, and any other information we gather about you in the process of providing those services. In other words, Personal Information includes information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being linked to you. However, to limit information usage, in some cases we de-identify, aggregate, or anonymize information so that it no longer identifies you. De-identified and aggregated information is not considered Personal Information and may be shared with and used by other Meta Companies as per their respective terms, conditions, policies, and notices.
