The Offer

- In the past, reports in the comments indicated that it’s possible to stack the referral bonus and the Swagbucks bonus which is currently $120. This says it’s not possible

Our Verdict
Not all links are showing the $300 offer, many are. Previous offers were just $150-$200 for new member and $50 for referrer, so this deal is significantly better.

received email today from Upgrade to activate debit card for $25 bonus after 3 transactions by Aug.31st.
Called CSR to order debit card, as I never received one, or didn’t request one when I signed up in May. I will be doing (3) $1 transcactions in my future.
$0 current balance. received SUB 2 months ago, never closed acct.
10/2022—P2 opened 1st account
06/21/2024—-closed 1st account
P1 referred P2 with $100/$300 offer
06/24/2024–P2 applied w/ said link and approved for 2nd account; no banner or tracker showed up regarding bonus
06/26/2024—sent $1001 from FidelityCMA, received congrats email on access to tier benefits with DD
07/15/2024—sent $1001.05 from Chase Biz
07/24/2024—still no bonus
Technically they have 30 days to post bonus so from the Fidelity push bonus should be expected no later than 07/25.
With Chase Biz bonus should be expected no later than 08/13.
P1 received two referral bonuses from other referrals this month. One from a $100/$300 referral link on July 5th link was used shortly before around 06/27 by person who never had an account before and another from a $50/$200 referral on July 22, not sure who used it and when. Both seem to come fairly fast so making me think this referral with P2 might not have worked.
Should I contact them? And when?
Missed the $300 promo that ended end of June but was able to do p1/p2 easily for the $250/200.
Fidelity worked for both deposits, recognized as dd. Bonus tracker disappeared and got an email saying DD was in. About two days later for each deposit is when I go the bonuses. Thanks all

1,001 posted July 8th how much longer?
I just received an email today saying that my account has been suspended. No reason giving.
(I opened account in June. Got my $300 bonus already. Current account balance $30.)
I immediately filed a CFPB complaint.
What’s the point in filing a complaint? You already got the bonus. If you’re a churner, there’s no more use for the account. Unless you wanted the crappier referral bonus?
Not a churner. First time user of Upgrade. Legit direct deposit.
I would like to get my $30 back and close the account, because I don’t want to deal with hassle like this (i.e., random, unreasonable account suspension that is wasting my time and energy). Too bad—I had thought about keeping the account since transfers are fast.
How come you didn’t call them before filing a CFPB complaint? My account was suspended 2 or 3 weeks ago. The reason was because I added a suspicious (in their mind) amount of external accounts and I got it straightened out by calling the # in the email.
Not sure what happened, but their Customer Service really got bad in the last few weeks. Pulled all funds out. Strongly NOT recommend this place. Avoid.

Nope, been pending a while now. Opened the upgrade account on 5/20, rec’d the upgrade bonus on 5/28. Swagbucks pending still.

Mine never made it to pending, just the orange tracked symbol. I opened about the time other DPs said it disappeared from pending.
Mine stayed pending for more than 32 days so I submitted a ticket. They denied it saying that i was not eligible to combine it with other bonuses or promotions (upgrade’s $300)
Their ‘customer service’ is getting rally bad. Never was great, but getting worse.
You gonna explain why or just keep repeating that
