The ZeroWater
Ready-Pour ZD-010RP is part of the
Water Filters test program at
Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, Water Filter Pitchers
models like the Ready-Pour ZD-010RP are rated on multiple criteria, such as those
listed below.
Flavor and Odor Reduction:
A measure of how effectively the filter removed flavor taints, along with the resulting odor taints, that CR added to plain water with minimal intrinsic flavor and odor (the "control" water). The test measured how close the flavor and odor of the filtered water was to that of the control water.
Flow rate:
Flow rate is based on the number of minutes the pitcher took to filter 32 ounces of water.
Clogging:
The percent change in a filter's flow rate over the course of the cartridge's capacity.
