Lucid

Based in California, Lucid Motors entered the EV fray with a platform, battery, motor, and electronics that were designed in house, with an emphasis on compact design. The first production model from Lucid is an impressive ultra-luxury electric sedan called Air. It is distinguished by long range and outlandish performance, but it is rough around the edges. A three-row SUV called Gravity is expected to join the Air in 2024.
