Buick's suite of active safety equipment includes forward collision warning and lane departure mitigation systems, as well as optional automatic emergency braking were in 2016, the intro year. With the 2017 model year, forward-collision warning and blind-spot monitoring were no longer standard.
The model line expanded for 2017, adding a non-turbo 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and front-wheel-drive, as well as lower levels of equipment.
For 2019, a new nine-speed automatic transmission is now paired to the updated 2.0-liter turbo engine.
