Stephanie Landry is the Strategic Lead for Digital Finance at Consumer Reports. She helps develop and implement strategies to strengthen consumer protections in the fast-growing marketplace of digital financial products and services. Stephanie oversees the development of a digital finance evaluation capacity at CR, including integrating digital financial research with our advocacy for a fair, safe, and just marketplace.
Stephanie comes to CR with a background in financial inclusion and economic justice. Prior to joining CR, Stephanie provided training and technical assistance to community-based organizations to build capacity to meet the financial needs of clients. She also researched the financial lives of low- to moderate-income populations and communities of color, and she designed, piloted, and evaluated programs and products to meet financial needs of those communities. Throughout this work, Stephanie has focused on financial products and services, including working with a low-income credit union and regional bank, and researching, vetting, and developing partnerships with fintech companies.
Stephanie holds a B.A. in International Affairs concentrating in economics from the George Washington University, and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
