This documentary is a compelling exploration of the Tuskegee Airmen, blending historical footage and personal interviews with the discovery of a sunken WWII plane. The Real Red Tails thoroughly examines the racial challenges these pioneers faced, underscored by powerful firsthand accounts that highlight their bravery and pride. Although the pacing sometimes falters, especially during the archaeological segments, the documentary effectively honors these heroes' contributions to American history.
