Is It Any Good?

The surprisingly fun and sometimes goofy immersive experience features young Korean celebs attempting to enter and exit what seem like escape rooms by looking for clues and solving puzzles. The gritty, anxiety-provoking spaces often feature gruesome-looking clues, live bugs, and other unexpected (and uncomfortable) surprises. Having to hide from ominous-looking characters adds to the thrill.

Despite some of the nuanced humor getting lost in translation, it's clear that the entire ordeal isn't meant to be taken seriously. Meanwhile, you can't help but get caught up watching these folks trying to complete the mission without a clue or a cell phone. Ultimately, Agents of Mystery is nothing more than an offbeat unscripted reality experience produced for the sole purpose of entertaining audiences. But that's exactly what makes it worth watching.
