This podcast has endless value for any families and educators. PJ Library Presents: Afternoons With Mimi teaches young listeners about Jewish culture, stories, and values, while telling stories relatable to kids of all backgrounds. The podcast does a nice job demonstrating how young people can show integrity, thanks in part to the moral anchoring that elders and culture can provide. Younger listeners may need a little help understanding the traditional tales and getting through their more magical or perilous moments, but the sweetness of the interaction between Kiddo and Mimi is valuable itself in its depiction of affection, patience, curiosity, and sharing traditions across generations.
