Nedda Lewers' fun and action-packed sequel will have you and your heart racing through the streets of Egypt along with the main characters. Children of the Wind is full of adventure, magic, and thrills, though Sahara's path to learning more about her family, her mother, her friends, and herself is at the heartwarming core of the story. Like its prequel, Daughters of the Lamp, this book will resonate with young readers who love fantasy based on folklore and especially Muslim and/or Egyptian American readers, who will get to see a bit of themselves and their families in Sahara's story.
