Apple has announced that its latest device, the Apple Vision Pro, will be expanding to new countries and regions earlier this month and today is the day that pre-orders go live in Canada.
Starting today, consumers of Apple products can finally pre-order the Apple Vision Pro at retailers based in new territories outside of the US since its launch back in February. Customers can even engage with an at-home shopping experience that makes it easy to personalize and purchase Vision Pro, with assistance from an Apple Specialist available via chat or by phone. Interestingly enough, consumers can schedule a free, up to 30-minute virtual session to learn more about unboxing, finding a precise fit, and navigating the onboard visionOS via the Apple Store website.
The Apple Vision Pro is described as “a revolutionary spatial computer,” and it “transforms how people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, and enjoy entertainment” by blending digital content with physical happenings, blurring the lines between content and real life.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a release, “We can’t wait for more people to see the impossible become possible, whether working and collaborating with an infinite canvas for apps, reliving treasured memories in three dimensions, watching TV shows and movies in a one-of-a-kind personal cinema, or enjoying brand-new spatial experiences that defy imagination.” He concluded, “We are thrilled to introduce the magic of spatial computing to more customers around the world.”
Just like when the Apple Vision Pro launched in the US, starting today, customers can visit the Apple Store online to book a personal one-on-one demo of Apple Vision Pro, available at Apple Store locations in Canada beginning Friday, July 12. This will allow users to make an even more informed decision on whether the device is the right fit for the individual.
The Apple Vision Pro is available for pre-order now from the Apple website, and consumers can make appointments for demos and virtual unboxing starting today, but the demos will launch at the same time as the device on July 12. The Apple Vision Pro has memory optionality as well, but where other devices will have notable price drops, the Vision Pro starts at $4,999 CAD.
