Sound Therapy

ATA’s Masking Sound Library

Sound therapy refers to use of pleasant or calming sounds that diminish the presence of tinnitus. Because the brain can only focus on one thing at a time, using sound can provide immediate relief or the ability to focus more effectively on things you want to do. Examples of sound to help with tinnitus intrusion can be found in the ATA’s Masking Sound Library. They are also available for download. YouTube and streaming services, such as Spotify, carry a wide array of sound therapy options suitable to help you work, sleep, and relax.
