With PRINTING United Expo 2024 only being a few short months away — Sept. 10 – 12 in Las Vegas — everyone in the print industry is gearing up for one of the best events to network, explore new technology, and learn about new business strategies. Highlighting this year’s event on the apparel decoration side will be a strong lineup of exhibitors, education sessions, and a re-imagined Apparel Zone powered by Apparelist Live.

Apparelist: Is this the first time you plan to attend PRINTING United Expo?

Geffen: No, I think this will be our fifth year.

Apparelist: Why do you keep coming back to the event?

Geffen: I like to stay sharp and keep my finger on the equipment pulse. Whether we plan to buy at the show or not, I make it a point to attend at least every other year to know what’s out there so when it is time to buy our next piece of equipment, at least we know a little bit about a lot of options.

Apparelist: What are you most looking forward to at this year’s PRINTING United Expo? 

Geffen: We’re not looking to buy anything specific but would always interested to see if anyone has any major advances in automation.

Apparelist: Do you have any advice for those who might be on the fence about attending?

Geffen: If you like going to the [the other popular shows in the industry], this is much more intimate and less rushed with most of the bigger players still in attendance. Vegas is a relatively inexpensive place to travel to as well. The education at this show is typically pretty BS free and presented in a solid format.
