    Already played over 50hrs of Street Fighters 6 and Tekken 8 with it and overall, a very solid experience. Zero issues, it feels great on your lap and fingers, plus the RGB has some neat settings, though I keep them off. I recommend keeping a box of wipes near because if you sweat on it, it builds up a layer of dirt, so you'll have to keep it clean. 10/10

    I find execution on this controller to be exceptionally accurate. It's very easy to travel with this device as well if you want to go to tournaments or bring it to a friend's place.     This is being used on PC primarily and works well, feeling very similar to the Razer Kitsune.

    I'd definitely grab this if PC is your primary platform and you want to get into the leverless controller world without breaking the bank. With that said, there is a workaround for PS4/PS5 use. Essentially tricking the console into making it think this is a PS4 controller. I'd definitely make a note this is only going to apply to fighting games. I have the Kitsune for full PS5 support though, so this isn't something I'm personally worrying about and haven't needed to test.

    Built quality is decent. The buttons feel good and the screen at the top left is nice to work with. Since the T13's built to be about the same size at the Razer too, it'll also allow you to rest your palm on the surface of the controller when needed. One thing I will note is the replacement button options for this device seems up in the air, with the Bitfunx buttons seeming to be the ones to get since they're all 30mm. I just wish there was a more OEM option provided by the seller for further customization.

    The only fault I can see is that my unit's top button, above the left, down, right button, is unresponsive. I realize this can happen and I have a replacement already ordered so it's not a big deal. This button is suppose to mimic the 'up' button from what I can tell. I likely wouldn't use this anyway so again, not a big deal for me personally, but I'd obviously like this to work simply because it should out of the box.

    If you're at all hesitant about leverless controllers, but genuinely want to try it out, I'd say this is a solid starting point that is considerably less expensive than the Razer, Hitbox, and Victrix options out there. The smaller G series and slightly short M series would also make for good options if they're using the same board and switches.

    Bought the haute42 t13 as my friends told me about getting into using a lever less for fighting games. I come from a background of playing on arcade stick so it was generally awkward at first but within a few days I was able to see leaps in my back dash cancels in tekken 8. The device is about the size of a laptop on your lap and the buttons are comfortably sized. They also have a satisfying sound to each press. The product has the ability to change to different system compatibility using the haute42 program (there are many YouTube videos on this) which also allow you to change the rgb and macros.
    The one thing I do not like are the lack of non-slip pads on the backside. If you have it placed on your lap there are instances where it can feel like it will slide out of your grip if you are leaning forward. For this I would recommend getting some of your own non-slip pads to attach on the back of the device.
    Native ps5 support would also be nice but this is a difficult feature to implement to most accessories on the market so I won’t knock them for it. If you set it to the playstation setting, it will work for about 5 minutes or so before the game stops registering your inputs. For those looking to compete with the haute42 I would recommend purchasing a brooks wingman fgc so that you can use the device on ps5 without concerns of technical difficulties mid match.
    This product is absolutely worth it for those who want to try leverless without having to drop $200 or more.

    Und ich liebe Arcade bzw. Fightsticks. Man kann schon sagen, ich bin geradezu süchtig danach.
    Meine Sammlung ist mittlerweile relativ ordentlich und teilweise baue ich diese sogar selbst.

    Die leverless (ohne Joystick) Versionen wie hier, erfreuen sich immer mehr Beliebtheit und das nicht ohne Grund. Viel ergonomischer und vor allem viel präziser als ein normaler Joystick. Wirklich ins Rollen gebracht hat diese Art von Controllern vor vielen Jahren die Firma Hitbox, die lange Platzhirsch war. Aber auch dementsprechend teuer. Günstig hat man entweder nur selbst bauen können oder minderwertige Controller erhalten.
    Das leverless Konzept ist sogar so gut, dass es gerade am Anfang in Anspielung auf den Namen Hitbox auch "Cheatbox" genannt wurde und es sehr laute Rufe aus der Fighting game community nach einem Bann dieser Controller von Turnieren gab.

    Mit der opensource GP2040CE Firmware hat die Ära der überteuerten Controller dann aber ein für alle Mal ein Ende gehabt und immer mehr erschwingliche Versionen kamen auf dem Markt. Unter anderem auch die Firma Haute42 mit einem beachtlichen Lineup.
    Ich durfte hier nun die T13 Version testen, wobei das T für die Produktserie steht und die 13 die Anzahl der Aktionstasten angibt. Erhältlich ist das Modell auch noch als T16, bei der dann zwei der Funktionstasten aus der Reihe oben (L3 und R3) mit nach unten zu den Aktionstasten gewandert sind.

    Die Verarbeitung ist hier erstklassig mit sehr, sehr wenig Luft zum Meckern. Aufgebaut ist der Controller in Sandwichbauweise aus mehreren Lagen Acryl und der Leiterplatine. Als Schalter kommen Kailh Low Profile Choc V2 zum Einsatz. In der "roten" Ausführung, also linear mit etwa 44 Gramm Auslösegewicht. Ein Ersatzschalter liegt bei und kann im Fall der Fälle ausgetauscht werden. Dazu sind die Schalter alle in Hotswap Sockeln eingebaut. Also einfach herausziehen und neuen Schalter einsetzen.
    Der Punkt an dem ich meckern würde, wäre die unterste Acrylplatte. Diese hätte noch etwas dicker ausfallen können, um noch etwas mehr Masse gegen Flex entgegen zu setzen. Ich sehe zwar keine Gefahr, dass sich das ganze Konstrukt schnell durchbiegt. Aber mehr wäre hier schöner gewesen.

    Oh, und eine deutsche(!) Anleitung wäre hier eigentlich Pflicht. Die liegt leider nur in englisch bei, ist aber dafür sehr detailliert.

    Bespielen lässt sich der Controller absolut klasse. Auch wenn ich im Video am Ende dann doch ein kleines "Timingproblem" hatte, oder einfach ein Skill Issue...

    Wie oben bereits erwähnt, sind die Haute42 Controller alle durch die Bank als günstig anzusehen. Gerade wenn man mal den Markt dieser Controller vergleicht, wird man feststellen, dass man woanders schnell mal das Zwei- bis Dreifache bezahlt. Als Beispiele seien da Snackbox micro, Arcade Paradise MPress und MPress nano, Razer Kitsune und co erwähnt.
    Und diese haben dann teilweise nicht einmal die breite Kompatibilität wie die Haute42 Modelle.
    Denn durch die GP2040 Firmware ist der Controller zu vielen Konsolen ab Werk kompatibel bzw. mit Aufspielen von bestimmten Dateien (kann ich hier "aus Gründen" leider nicht näher drauf eingehen) erweiterbar. Selbst mit einer PS5 kann eine Kompatibilität über einen separaten Adapter hergestellt werden.
    Darüber hinaus lässt sich so gut wie alles über den Web-Configurator einstellen. Ob nun die Belegung der einzelnen Tasten, das LED-Muster, Makros und und und. Selbst das kleine Bild, das im Display beim Anschließen angezeigt wird, kann beliebig verändert werden.
    Die Firmware wird kontinuierlich weiter entwickelt und kann selbst spielend leicht auf den neusten Stand gebracht werden. Dazu muss nur die passende Firmware aus dem GP2040CE github herunter geladen werden (aktuell 0.7.8, 0.7.9 steht in den Startlöchern ist aber noch nicht als "stabile" Version sondern nur als Preview-Version erhältlich). Den Controller selbst versetzt man in den Laufwerk-Modus, in dem man die Bootmode Taste beim Anschließen an den PC gedrückt hält. Die neue Firmware zieht man dann einfach in das neu erschienene Laufwerk und wartet kurz. Abstecken, wieder anschließen, fertig.
    Das Schöne ist aber, man muss nicht updaten. Auch aus der Box heraus funktioniert alles wunderbar.

    Ich könnte noch stundenlang weiter schreiben, möchte die Geduld hier aber auch nicht über strapazieren.
    Man erhält hier einen Spitzencontroller mit der zur Zeit geringsten am Markt verfügbaren Latenz (1 Millisekunde Verzögerung) in einer top Verarbeitung, welcher sich absolut vor keinem Mitbewerber verstecken muss. Ganz im Gegenteil, die originale Hitbox müsste sich eher vor den Haute Controllern verstecken. Und das Ganze auch noch zu einem mehr als fairen Preis.
    Das Einzige, was man mitbringen sollte ist etwas Geduld, da diese Art von Controller am Anfang doch sehr ungewohnt ist und eine ganze Weile braucht, um sich voll und ganz dran zu gewöhnen.

    Volle fünf Sterne, eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung und wie in der Überschrift bereits gesagt: Ich habe nichts anderes erwartet.

    A parte la luminosità stratosferica devo dire che è molto comodo per i giochi di combattimento dove la resa è sicuramente migliore se si gioca con tastiera.
