    When my Ms Pac-Man arrived, I was super excited… that is… until I saw the condition of the box. It was tore up and taped back together. I carefully unpacked the contents to find that it was packed really well, and none of the parts were damaged. It soon and I about 2.5 hours to assemble. I love this arcade cabinet!!! It will be the first of many. Hopefully the next game will arrive with the shipping box in better condition.

    I wanted to post pics but my son likes to play it in his underwear lol.

    Anyway, building it took a while but it wasn't too difficult but time consuming. Set-up was easy, just use the app and scan some QR codes ad you're ready to go.

    I do wish there was a way to add more games but this still would have blown my mind when I was a kid and the included games run perfectly.

    Only issues I have are that the joystick ball keeps falling off, I might put some loctite on the threads. The second issue was the plastic film covering the screen. To remove it you will have to remove the bolts one by one and pull the film that is trapped under them. Not a huge deal but I didn't notice until I had built the entire cabinet and that made it a lot more difficult to do this during assembly.

    Assembly: I would not say easy, but moderately difficult. Took me two hours working alone. Instructions say Phillips head screwdriver, which is true, but you soon realize several sizes are needed as some screws are very small. I also used a small electric screw driver against the instruction's advice as getting some screws to bite proved difficult. Overall, I would say if you can put together a large IKEA dresser, you should be able to handle this. Instructions are picture only, like IKEA, so look at the pictures carefully while working each step. Not too heavy, my wife and I were able to move easily.

    Update: Register for the extended warranty (free)! My control board failed after 5 months. Company was responsive and helpful with new board on its way. Comes with 3 month warranty and extended is 6 months...worth it.

    We were so excited to receive our very first arcade machine. I had heard so much about it and living in Malaysia, this was going to be something really special. The 1.5 week wait made the expectation grow even more. What was supposed to be a joy turned out the exact opposite. We quickly discovered there were missing parts in our shipment. UPS didnt help either as it appeared that they didnt do much to handle the machine with care during transport. When it arrived the box looked like it went through the title match with Mike Tyson. ARCADE1UP was also completely unhelpful when contacted to help send us the missing parts. It was just the screw set and 2 small wood panels so it would have been so easy for them to do so. Apparently they wont help if machine is delivered outside the USA. What a silly policy to have if they want to sell more machines. Returning the item from Malaysia was another nightmare. Amazon was the hero here and had been very helpful throughout the return process. The problem was the waiting.... waiting for pickup .... waiting for refund..... waiting to be reimbursed for return shipping. Waiting nightmare galore. Till today (1 month later), I am still waiting for my refund to be processed by my credit card company (because its not in the USA) although Amazon had already approved it a few days ago. I do still want an arcade machine but am thinking hard if its going to be from ARCADE1UP.
