3.0 out of 5 starsExcellent 4-channel fixed frequency mic system -revised

I really like the fact that these are pretty much plug and play. They require 2 AA batteries per mic - so have batteries with you always. Our gigs are 3-4 hours each. We probably get 4-5 gigs between battery changes. We are in a Motown / RnB band and the quality is fine for what we do. Used out of the box and doesnt interfere with my band's in ear monitors.
My only complaint is there is no battery life indicator, which is a very minor objection. The mic display turns RED when batteries are low, and once it does that - change the batteries next break. I havent tested how long the mics will last once the display is red, but its probably at least 30 minutes. But clearly the mic turns red so that is an indicator.
EDIT - The other thing that would be nice is if Innapow provided sturdy mic clips. The mic body diameter is large and you need XL mic clips. I tried the amazon basics clothesepin clips - which worked for a while, but the springs keep popping out. Dont use those clips!
Overall - if you dont want to spend a TON of money on well-known, brand name wireless mic systems, and IF changing frequencies is not necessary (or maybe I havent learned HOW to change frequencies - but the out of the box setup works well and since not broken, I havent fixed) - these are a no-brainer and I would definitely buy again.
UPDATE
I downgraded to 3 stars. Although the sound quality is decent, lately one mic seems to not work during gigs. The build quality is questionable also. After 8 months of use - we gig on average I’d say 6 weekend nights a month - one mic’s power switch somehow came out. Couldn’t get it back in. Have no clue how that happened. Thankfully lead singer has nails and can turn on the small switch on the circuit board.
There is also a round cover in the bottom of the mics - which normally stay in pll look ace when you unscrew the shaft to replace the batteries. One came off and the negative battery post spring was exposed. After changing batteries I slide it back on and when reattaching the battery cover, it goes back into place. I’m
One other thought - I knew it was fixed frequency when I purchased. (Sound guy gets annoyed when one won’t work). I just purchase a 4 mic system to with adjustable frequencies, do these innapows may wind up as rehearsal space mics.
