We have tried a couple of other Covid testing brands and did not really like the way they worked. We much prefer this one where you just swab the inside of your nose and then put that into a small tube that you with a liquid that comes in the package. You mix that around and then, you drop that into the test.

Easy to use even though you're feeling terrible
I isolated for 12 days and took a lot of these tests. The other good brand seemed to be Binax, but iHealth is much better because there's no flappy card to contend with. And when you're not feeling well, ease is key, so not worrying about spilling/flicking/spreading snot covered things is super important. I also took both Binax and iHealth tests to double check, and the iHealth test was more accurate.We also had very old iHealth tests which were a year past official expiration, but they worked just as good as the new ones (as long as the control line is valid). The lines are very easy to make out, even when very faint, and everything is packaged in such a way that you are not likely to contaminate anything while handling the various parts that make up the kit.Pro tips: the main section of the little solution bottle can be hard to unscrew, so unscrew it first to loosen, and then screw it back on lightly before handling the q-tip. After collecting a sample on the q-tip from both nostrils, leave it in one of your nostrils so you have two hands free to handle the solution bottle and prep the q-tip package to accept the used q-tip after you're done with it.Finally, so you don't have to frantically buy random supplies like I did, here's what I found helpful to get:• Germ-X advanced hand sanitizer, 1 liter, no scent• Purell Advanced Hand Sanitizer 2oz travel size, fill these up with the above after they're empty, great to have them on you and in various rooms, the pump makes it easy to use• Caring Nitrile Exam Gloves, I thought I'd need these more, but it was more feasible to wash my hands or use hand sanitizer• Cepacol, for coughing• Nyquil severe cold and flu capsules, for sleeping, for me there was only a mild interaction with Paxlovid• Sudafed, for post nasal drip• 70% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol, put a sprayer in the bottle and spray liberally to surfaces that you've coughed or sneezed on• Hydrogen Peroxide, for soaking your toothbrush, retainer, etc.• any resealable plastic bag, to house used tissues• Snacks, when you're isolating, it's easy to get depressed. treat yourself

Outstanding quality. I got tested when I was sick and it showed positive. Went to the doctor and it was accurate results. Later on after self isolated period, I was good. Thank you for helping me protect my family and friends. I appreciate it. Very accurate and great price for money. It was packaged well and secure seal for the vials.
