Presentation 5/5
Hands down, the best packaging and presentation out of the three different brands of keyboards I purchase. I was initially turned off by the janky, broken amazon packaging it came in, but after opening it up, there was a sleek, black box wrapped neatly. The cover was magnetic, and there was a proper plastic molding covering the keyboard that was laid in foam. Absoluetly fantastic, and just as good as any mainstream brand when it comes to the unboxing.
Quality 4.5/5
You can’t expect a keyboard that’s $50 to compare with one of higher brand name. However, this one is the highest quality one out of the 5 boards I tried. Absolutely blown away. It’s design is extremely compact, it deletes the F-row keys as well as the typical home row keys on TKLs and puts them on various secondary functions of other keys.
The keycaps feel extremely well made, they’re a soft, matte finish and give the feeling of quality. I have no idea how they’d hold up over time with unclean hands, but initially, they’re beautiful. The chassis is very solid and well built. It’s obviously plastic (compared to the metal materials of high end keyboards), which is the only reason this isn’t perfect on my list. The feel of each keyswitch is solid and firm and doesn’t feel like you’er being compromised. Absolutely the best quality keyboard out of the one’s I’ve tried and is highly recommended if you’re looking for something like that.
I wish the actual font of the keys were a little less gaudy and a bit more normal, but what can you expect from purchasing from a Chinese brand at a lower price?
Typing 1.5/5
The typing itself was very nice and felt similar to higher end keyboards I’ve tried with red switches. These are Outemu red switches, but they’re slightly different than the ones I had on the E-Element Z88 keyboard. The keys felt a bit harder to press down, and had a bit of oomph to them when you did, consistently making a higher, louder sounding clacking if you’re into that. I preferred the soft one ever so slightly but it’s a complete tossup and up to you whether you want a quieter sounding clack or a louder sounding clack. Note that I say “clack” and not “click” – “clicks” are more with the blue switches.]
I have raving about everything about this keyboard so far, so it broke my heart when there was one fatal flaw that completely broke the deal for me. I tried to type a question. And the “?” key was on the right of the up arrow key. That was something that hit me and would’ve forced me to completely change my finger’s muscle memory that has been developed. How could I do that> ( this is an example of what would come out)
It’s not like I didn’t give it a chance. I decided to see if I could “get over it” because this was one con among the other amazing pros that this keyboard offered – unfortunately, it was hard. I had to get used to consciously remembering that the question mark was on the right and I know that it would eventually become annoying after awhile because I do use that key a lot. And I alternate between using a mechanical keyboard and my laptop keyboard, so I’d have to continuously keep it in mind if I moved to the mechanical. If it is your lone keyboard, then I could see you eventually getting over it. If the keyboard layout were better, this keyboard would’ve been the shining star among the keyboards I purchased to test.
Features 5/5
When it comes to convenience, this one was in a league of it’s own because it’s bluetooth enabled and I found that to be extremely nice. It’s easy to activate, and you can connect it to several devices at a time. It did come with a wire, and the Type-C cable that came with it was a very high quality, 90 degree cable that also charges the battery. The wired/wireless latency wasn’t that much different from what I tested.
This keyboard isn’t heavy, and isn’t light – it’s small and compact and definitely a good choice if you’re going to take this around with you.
The spacebar, depending on what mode you are in, acts as the battery indicator (most of the time using it wired, it pulsates blue to show that is it charging) . I can’t tell you about the battery life since I tested this for a limited amount of time. The keyboard has prop up legs built in, which is important when it comes to typing for me.
The RGB lighting on this keyboard is very well done, with several different patterns and colors to pick from. It’s also all easy to do and is built into the keyboard, without software required. You can change the colors, design, brightness, and speed of the lights all within the keyboard.
The keyboard came with two different keycaps in case you need to remove the Windows key if you’re using a Mac, and an easy tool to remove the keycaps.
---------------
I loved this keyboard and wanted this to be the one I kept. Great presentation, great quality keys, solid typing experience, and features that rival those you get in higher end brands. I just absolutely could not deal with the placement of the question mark key – and that’s why I decided to try and buy the DK61 model from the same company, which had a better layout (but if you look at my review there, there were SEVERAL other cons). I ended up keeping my Z-88, but this would’ve been my go to if the layout were a bit better. If you think you can get over the layout, if you don’t use the question mark key often, or if this will be your lone keyboard so you will be able to eventually change your muscle memory, please buy this keyboard. Everything about this is top tier other than the layout – but if you are like me and think you can’t, check out my reviews on the other keyboards I tested out! You might find the cons and pros of others more to your taste!
**Most Useful to You**: If you buy one of these, I have listed the 8 preprogrammed RGB patterns, and backlight colors at the bottom of the review.

# My Review
This winter I went crazy looking for the "perfect" keyboard to write a book. For a variety of reasons, I had to reduce my office to a backpack, meaning everything went onto my MacBook Pro, and my iPad Pro as my second screen. The butterfly keyboard on the mac is tragically bad, but the new scissor keys won't be out until mid-2020. I tried making the switch to a windows laptop - Love the Lenovo X1 Carbon, but as I am heavily invested in the Apple eco-system, it was just too painful. So my MacBook stays. As a result, I proceeded to try, seven keyboards. That's right. 7. I am very picky about my key feel. I prefer clicky keys - Red Switches are smooth but don't provide that satisfying click. Brown switches, while quiet, and have a tactile bump, are too subtle for my taste. I like the blue switches. I want to HEAR and FEEL the click.
While I found keyboards I love, most are too big and heavy to take on the road. Then I found the DIERYA. Why this was the LAST keyboard I tried, I don't know. But, I have to give Dierya credit. This keyboard nailed all my requirements. They have a blue switch (clicky) version which I LOVE. The keyboard supports Bluetooth to THREE devices - which means I can work on my MacBook Pro, my iPad Pro, or my iPhone. That is awesome. It has a USB-C connector, which I thought would let me connect USB-C to USB-C with my Mac! But as of yet, the keyboard has only worked with the cable it came with :-( and I'm not sure why.
My cons for the keyboard are mostly minor. The Shift and /? are not where I expect them, but with such a compact layout, I will make the effort to adjust. I just have to pay attention and make sure I don't press 'up' when I mean to shift.
Finally, I wanted to share the lighting pattern on the December 2019 version of the keyboard:
## Lighting Info
The keyboard has 8 programmed RGB light modes, and you can switch the backlight (Static) color!
You change modes with FN+/
## Here are the preprogrammed RGB modes:
1. Solid color - no key response. When you type a key it stays in that color.
2. Chaser - fills in keyboard with colors racing/chasing across the keyboard.
3. Wave - a wave of rainbow colors wash across the board. The keys do not respond to your keypress.
4. Ripple - keys go to your solid color, then when you press a key, a rainbow effect spreads out from the center. **Note**: You can slow down the ripple using FN+← to slow it down and FN+→ to speed it up.
5. Row ripple - this pattern keeps the keys in the default color, but when you type the row ripples.
6. Single Key Flash - (Footprints?) This mode the keys you type flash RGB, but do not affect the keys around them. (I kind of like this mode because it gives feedback when you type. **This is my favorite mode**
7. Splash - This mode does a rainbow ripple to only the adjacent keys you have typed. _this is my second favorite mode_
8. Breathing - in this mode the keys do not respond (visually) to your typing, but the whole keyboard breaths the RGB color cycle.
You can change the backlight (static) color with FN+Enter
- Red
- Blue

I am super impressed with this keyboard, and I highly recommend it. I don't have any experience with its durability as I just unboxed it, but I am so impressed that I literally sat down to write this review with my new keyboard.

UPDATE: July 6th I was contacted and received an apology for the lack of response. I finally received a new replacement and so far this one works flawlessly. If you have no problems you will love this keyboard and especially for the money. I had got tired of waiting and had already replaced the broken Dierya with an Anne Pro 2. which cost more than double. I like Dierya better, it has a better overall feel to it.
UPDATE July 10th...Dierya is starting the same issue with keys sticking or not stopping. I may try a firmware update but I'm over this keyboard. It looks good, feels good, but won't work for long. The battery life is not that great either. This could be a great keyboard but they have to fix all the bugs. The Anne pro 2 works flawlessly..
